"If fashion fixes are your sugar highs, you'd better be sitting down. Today, Lanvin releases the complete lookbook for their collaboration with H&M, and it's (really) even better than we expected. Cocktail dresses have mesh overlays embroidered with Golightly-esque gemstone "necklaces." Shoes have lush silk ribbons and floral prints. Faux fur is piled high, and cinched with satin bows. This is a Dress Up Box collection for grown-ups and it's kind of a dream.

The entire line hits stores on November 23 - that's a Tuesday, for those planning your "I'm too sick to work" day - and for now, here's a hysterical video and some shots of the outfits seen on screen."

buckhead, please..*

this photo takes me right back to the catch-your-breath-beautiful autumn mornings i was fortunate enough to experience in atlanta. playing in the park, falling into piles of perfectly fragrant leaves. walking to the schoolbus, through the most incredibly beautiful trees ive ever seen. i loved waking up in the manor at buckhead, i loved eating deliciously unfamiliar cereal, i loved anticipating the cafeteria breakfasts, and holding my dad's hand as we floated through the biting air. is it sad that im literally tearing up just thinking about it, there's nowhere else id rather be rightnow...

if i were in america tonight id have taylorswift's new album already, and not have to wait forever. id also be watching the gg episode where lil j comes back. and, if i stayed for another six days, i could celebrate my favourite not-really-a-holiday in a place where they appreciate the brilliance of it. #justsayin

there's nothing i want more rightnow than to be able to attend FNO this year. honestly. im secretly (well, not so secretly anymore..) hoping that september tenth will be the day i finally master the art of teleportation. so that my heart and newyorkcity can once again be reunited in the perfect event for us. that, and not having to wash my hair rightnow.. oh and this unicorn perfume. just sayin.

this photo makes me think of barneys bag. [the dinosaur, victoria. apparently it's difficult to know which one i'm referring to. gosh.] -everything you could ever need to make the moment perfect would fit inside. and then it makes me think that if i could have one wish tonight, i would choose something selfish.

i want to finish the episode. -to finish the season. but it's taken me... three hours... to be fine after watching it. so i think i'll watch breakfast at tiffanys instead. and hope we have ice cream in the freezer...
