The way he smiled at me
like we've known each other for years
A smile that sent flashes of memories we've never had
Afternoons on the couch
Breakfasts on the kitchen counter
Late night tears
The way the light danced in his eyes
River blue river blue river blue
He smiled, and my mind shouted back at me
'His million-watt smile! His million-watt smile!'
Electric through my veins
He walked towards me
'What did you say your name was?'
'I'm Andrea'
'I'm Andrea..' he repeated with a smile
A smile that said I'd see him again
He looked into me like,
Like we'd known each other for years
And looking back into his eyes
Felt like walking into his arms
Like coming home
