the romantics

i fell in love with this movie today, (it really was a wonderful birthday) everything from the pastel colours and satin ribbons and pale mint walls and big wooden doors with glass windows and green estates and beautiful trees and the incredible monologues and well-phrased arguments and exquisite scenes and wonderful soundtrack and their inspiring friendships filled with history and the poetry in life.

(it's the kind of beauty i wish my life is always filled with, and the kind of friendships i hope to always have.) and then i spent my afternoon writing letters and making collages to the songs from the movie and watercolour painting in the first pages of my glittery silver journal. xo
