Love

He wore a yellow bow-tie and her smile lit up the room. This beautiful girl I have loved for as long as I can remember, staring up at a man who fills her with so much joy.

He kissed her under falling stars, their children playing around them. Something about the way children laugh and play oblivious to the significant happenings around them made it all feel even more significant.

Everything, everything, was to glorify God. Honoring His perfectly-created love story, a thankfulness in our hearts that led us to worship. We sang together, of a love stronger than our fears, and it was like our voices were shining light pointing to Him, 'Your love never fails, it never gives up, it never runs out on me.'

There were cupcakes and horse-drawn carriage rides, yellow daisies and clear blue skies. She danced and we danced, celebrating!
Then we went back to their home, to drink heart-cappuccinos and sweet wine. Conversations starting with 'This is such a fun wedding!' and 'What a beautiful love story.' We couldn't help but imagine all the playdate adventures that would happen under those willow trees.

It was a special night of comfort with school friends, and discovery with new friends. Little girls blew bubbles and danced around the pool, fairy lights surrounded the lawn. The universe was in their garden, and true love filled the skies.
